Sedona straddles the county line between Coconino anbd Yavapai counties in the northern Verde Valley region about 110 miles south of the Grand Canyon.
It was named after Sedona Arabella Miller Schnebly, the wife of the cities first postmaster.
Sedona has all the positive aspects of a high desert art community.
